Kendall Jenner has incurred the wrath of the Internet by wearing what appeared to be a fur coat during Milan Fashion Week.

The high profile model angered anti-fur activists as she appeared on the DSquared2 catwalk on Sunday, wearing the huge jacket draped over a satin print gown.

“Come on @KendallJenner, there’s no valid justification for wearing real fur," one person wrote on Twitter.

Another added: “@KendallJenner disgraceful supporter of FUR you are. Sickening pictures @Dsquared2."

Many others took to their social media accounts to question why Jenner was wearing the potentially controversial garment.

However, some users also defended the 22-year-old and pointed the blame at designers DSquared2, who do stock fur products.

Evening Standard Online has contacted Jenner's representative for comment.

This isn’t the first time that Jenner has found herself surrounded by controversy after a Pepsi Max advert featuring the star was slammed worldwide last year.
