Katie Price and Alex Reid could be divorced by May.

The British TV star and the cage fighter - who separated in January, 11 months after they tied the knot - had agreed on a "no fault divorce" - which means neither party has to give a reason for the split, meaning the whole process could be resolved in as little as two months.

However, the plans have been put in doubt after Alex filed for divorce last week, accusing Katie of "unreasonable behaviour" and has been bombarding the 32-year-old beauty with text messages begging her to take him back.

Katie told the Daily Star: "I knew deep down Alex and I were over months ago. He kept telling me to give him one more chance but every time I did he would let me down.

"I am sure his head has been filled with ways he can make money from our relationship and the easiest way is to slag me off."

While Katie recently revealed she and Alex, 35, were still having sex despite their legal proceedings, the cage fighter has accused her of sleeping with Argentine model Leandro Penna while on a recent trip to America and reportedly hopes to use this to get more money in his settlement.

He wrote in one text message: "u moved on huggin an snoggin another man an spending night with him."
