I'm A Celebrity's Jimmy Osmond faced the Kangaroo Court for his Bushtucker Trial.

The former child star had to enter a pen filled with the Aussie animals and detach nine stars from their tails.

Hosts Ant and Dec warned that kangaroos can be vicious despite their cuddly appearance.

"I've never been disembowelled before but there is always a first time," Jimmy quipped.

Before entering the pen, he laughed nervously: "I wanted to go to the zoo to see the kangaroos, I didn't want to be in it."

He crawled in on all fours and managed to grab four stars, putting them in his special pouch.

Ant and Dec warned that a kangaroo was behind him, smelling his shoes.

"As long as that's all he's sniffing," Jimmy said.

But after the fourth star the animals began getting jumpy and one male in particular took a dislike to the singer, hissing whenever he came near.

The roo stood up on its back legs with a menacing look in its eye - spelling the end of Jimmy's attempt.

Every celebrity taking part in a trial so far has bagged four stars, but Jimmy was disappointed.

"It's not good enough for me, but I'm sure the gang will be happy," he said. "I let myself down and the team. I wanted five."

Meanwhile, Sheree Murphy overcame her fears to bring back the Celebrity Chest.
She and David Dickinson were sent into the jungle to find it.

It was suspended between two trees and they had to climb one, then jump off in a "leap of faith" to get the key.

If they missed they would drop into the safety net below.

Both Sheree and David had a few goes and missed each time.

David gave up after hitting the net and complaining: "Bloody hell, it took the skin off the end of my nose."

The Bargain Hunt presenter decided to send Sheree up the tree again - and this time she grabbed the key.

"What a bloody go that was," David congratulated, adding: "I never thought in a million years that girl would jump. That's the gutsiest girl I've ever seen with fears or phobias like that. What is she like? Formidable."

Back in camp, wine expert Jilly Goolden cracked open the booze when she took over as leader.

She shared a bottle of wine with the others at an early lunch, explaining: "I'd prefer it in the morning than in the evening."

She savoured the wine then pronounced: "Mine smells of insect repellent."
