I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’s full 2022 line-up has been announced, with a range of new stars ready to enter the Australian jungle for the first time since 2019.

ITV confirmed this year’s famous campmates on Monday as the show goes Down Under again after taking place in Wales for the past two years due to Covid regulations.

The series, which will begin on Sunday, November 6, will see the Culture Club lead singer Boy George entering the jungle. He is reported to be the highest-paid star in the show’s 20-year history with a whopping appearance fee of £500,000.

The pop star’s participation comes just under seven months after he said he would “never” do the show.

Joining Boy George is radio DJ Chris Moyles, Loose Women’s Charlene White and former professional rugby player Mike Tindall, who is married to the late Queen’s granddaughter Zara Tindall.

Tindall will not be the only sports star to appear as England Lionesses footballer Jill Scott has been tapped by producers, alongside Hollyoaks’ Owen Warner and Coronation Street star Sue Cleaver.

I’m A Celebrity ... Get Me Out of Here! 2022 Contestants

1/21

Olivia Atwood is the first Love Island star to appear on the series, while stand-up comic Babatunde Aleshe is sure to bring a few laughs to the jungle.

Former A Place in the Sun host Scarlette Douglas rounds off the contestants.

The starting line-up does not include comedian Seann Walsh, but he is believed to be joining the show a few days after the other celebrities as a bombshell contestant alongside Matt Hancock.

Hancock resigned as health secretary last year after violating his own Covid regulations by having an affair with aide Gina Coladangelo.

According to Betfair, footballer Jill Scott is odds on to win the series at 3/1 while Mike Tindall follows behind at 9/2, with Olivia Attwood 5/1 and Chris Moyles 6/1.

Boy George had been the 9/2 frontrunner to be crowned King of the Jungle on Monday, but his odds have drifted to 13/2 overnight.

Viewers can already vote for their “Jungle VIPs,” or “Very Isolated People”. These people will spend their first night stranded on an island and will face the opening trial of the series.

To vote for the VIPs, head to the app store and download the official I’m a Celebrity app.

I’m a Celebrity will return to our screens on Sunday, November 6, from 9 pm until 10.45 pm on ITV.
