I said it last week and I'll say it again: don't ignore this simply because it's a programme about religion. Dr Robert Beckford's honest presentation injects wit and relevance into what might otherwise be a slow-moving debate about the future of the Church of England.

In tonight's concluding part, Beckford visits the Kingsway International Christian Centre in Hackney and examines how evangelism is taking off in Britain. He also looks at how movements such as the Alpha course have brought fundamentalist Christianity into the mainstream.

But what is the established liberal Anglican church doing about this? Beckford discovers that the answer appears to be "meditating".
