Only one of them was born when their father famously berated the nation on live TV. But last night Sir Bob Geldof's girls were able to relive the moment he launched a torrent of swearwords while pleading with viewers to donate money to Africa's starving millions.

Fifi, Peaches, Pixie and Tiger Lily were in the audience for the premiere of a charity DVD of the 1985 Live Aid concerts.

None had seen footage of the legendary shows in London and Philadelphia before. And neither, it turned out, had the man who organised them.

'This is going to be the first time I watch it,' Sir Bob revealed as he arrived at the Odeon in Kensington.

'I promised the artists this would never be released. Then I found out people were selling pirate videos of the event on Ebay. To me, that was stealing out of the mouths of the hungry.'

Annie Lennox, Katie Melua, Brian May, The Darkness and Spandau Ballet's Gary Kemp were among the stars who joined Sir Bob and the girls to celebrate Live Aid, which raised nearly £100million.

Fifi, 21, Peaches, 15, and 14-year-old Pixie - the former Boomtown Rat's children by the late Paula Yates - are no strangers to the world of showbusiness.

Fifi works behind the scenes at the satellite channel MTV while Peaches writes a magazine column in her spare time and Pixie recently presented a oneoff programme for Sky.

Tiger Lily, Miss Yates's eight-year-old daughter by Michael Hutchence, lives with her half- sisters, Sir Bob and his partner Jeanne Marine. She is too young to be thinking about a showbiz career herself. But the easy smile she managed for the cameras last night suggests it might only be a matter of time.
