Strictly Come Dancing star Gavin Henson wants to quit Wales for London.

The rugby player-turned reality star said moving to the capital would benefit his family and his career after his split from Charlotte Church.

In an interview with Hello! magazine, he said he needed a "bit of a change".

He said: "I feel it will be better for me as a person to move. And because Charlotte works up here and the kids are up here a lot, it all ties in.

"Plus I have to start thinking about what I have to do after rugby. There are a couple of things off the field and they're in London, so if I could keep that door open a little bit."

Henson, who posed in a Mad Men style photo shoot with Strictly Come Dancing partner Katya Virshilas said his children, three-year-old Ruby and 21-month-old Dexter watched him on the show.

He said: "Charlotte said they watched and were dancing for half an hour afterwards.

"They recognised their dad, which is awesome.

"I just want to be a good person and a good role model for them. Being a father is the best thing in the world.

"I have so much fun with my kids. They make me laugh all the time. Ruby is now full of sentences."
