It appears Olivia Wilde won’t be able to forget her sassy nickname for Florence Pugh anytime soon.

The director of the new film Don’t Worry Darling, 38, and lead actress Pugh, 26, have managed to garner more press attention outside of the movie in recent weeks after a series of feuding reports.

Wilde called Pugh “Miss Flo” in a leaked video from Shia LaBeouf, who was originally cast in Harry Styles’ role in the film and sent the clip after Wilde implied in an interview with Variety that she had fired him.

Wilde said in the footage: “I think this might be a bit of a wake-up call for Miss Flo.”

Now the phrase “Miss Flo” has taken a life of its own, as Pugh’s stylists have been seen in photos with the actress donning matching T-shirts with the nickname printed on, making a dig at Wilde.

The photos, posted on Pugh’s Instagram and later deleted, show her getting ready ahead of the Don’t Worry Darling premiere at the Venice Film Festival, with hairstylist Peter Lux and make-up artist Alex Babsky.

Both men are seen wearing ‘Miss Flo’ T-shirts while tending to Pugh, who is pictured flashing a grin in the mirror.

Pugh did not attend the Don’t Worry Darling press conference this week following the leaked video of Wilde, though she did arrive at the premiere hours later.

Fans shared their amused reactions at the photos, as one person wrote: “IT DOESNT END IT JUST KEEPS GETTING WORSE the whole casts’ publicists are prob on the verges of mental breakdowns rn.”

A second user said: “They totally know what theyre doing too im laughing”, as another commented: “If my team doesn’t stand behind me like this then I don’t want them.”

This comes after Pugh’s clothes stylist Rebecca Corbin-Murray also made a jibe at director Wilde for her nickname of Pugh earlier this week.

Following Pugh’s appearance on the red carpet at the Don’t Worry Darling premiere, Cobrin-Murray posted a series of photos of the star with the caption “Miss Flo”.

“The shadddeeee,” one fan commented, as another said: “OH THIS CAPTION IS SO ICONIC”.

Despite the scandal surrounding her latest project, it appears Pugh and her style team have been having a playful time amid the drama of it all.
