Driving ban for Eric Clapton

Eric Clapton has been banned from driving in France after clocking up 134mph.
The rock star was caught by radar while at the wheel of his Porsche 911 Turbo.
He was 53mph above the speed limit near the town of Merceuil in western France.
Police confiscated his British driver's licence and he was fined £516. Clapton, 59, took the bad news well, agreeing to a photo session with gendarmes.
He can still drive in Britain but will have to recover his licence through a diplomatic route.
