Singer Brian Harvey is being kept in "a controlled state of unconsciousness" by doctors.

The ex-East 17 star is on a life-support machine after falling under his Mercedes in Walthamstow last Tuesday.

Harvey, 30, has had operations to repair his lungs, abdomen and pelvis. Doctors at St George's Hospital, Tooting, refused to give a long-term prognosis.
