Wearing a pair of vertiginous heels and massive sunglasses — and blowing clouds of air kisses at waiting photographers — Dannii Minogue followed Cheryl Cole to Los Angeles yesterday.

Like her X Factor colleague, Dannii is in town to bolster her career, and a killer pair of heels is certainly one way to make it big.

Dannii's spokesman told us today: "Dannii has a week of business meetings arranged by her US agent. All very exciting!"

Meanwhile, Cheryl looked fabulous again as she left her recording studio.

After seeing the mountain of luggage she brought with her, we predicted that the Girls Aloud star would be a constant fashion parade — and, naturally, we weren't wrong. Yesterday she was snapped leaving the studio where she is working on her solo album in a striking green polo shirt with yellow handbag — and obligatory monster shades.
