Coming to the aid of the party

Ewan McGregor and fellow Guys and Dolls cast member Jane Krakowski, pictured above, were among the guests at the Porchester Hall in Bayswater last night for a fundraiser for Aids charity Terrence Higgins Trust.

Following an evening of 40 dinner parties held simultaneously in houses and restaurants throughout London - known as Supper Club parties - 500 guests arrived at the venue for champagne cocktails and dancing. It is the fifth year the event has taken place.

"I'm thrilled to have hosted a Supper Club dinner," enthused model Erin O'Connor. "The work Terrence Higgins Trust does is invaluable so I'm proud to be doing my bit. It's a lovely event."

Model Lily Cole and actress Keeley Hawes were among other guests.
