Breaking Bad actor Aaron Paul has tweeted his support for an online petition to put Breaking Bad figures back on sale at Toys 'R' Us.

The 35-year-old actor who played Jesse Pinkman in the Emmy award winning series took to Twitter last night to slam the decision to pull the dolls when the ever polarising Barbie dolls and violent video games are still available.

He tweeted: "Wait, so @ToysRUs pulled all of the Breaking Bad figures from their shelves and still sells Barbie? Hmmmm...I wonder what is more damaging?"

Mr President: Aaron tweeted at Barack Obama too

He added: "And what about all of the violent video games you sell @ToysRUs ? Do you still sell those? Florida mom really messed it up for everyone."

The removal follows an online petition by Susan Meyers, a mother from Florida, who gathered more than 9000 signatures after stating that the toy company's decision to "sell a Breaking Bad doll, complete with a detachable sack of cash and a bag of meth, alongside children’s toys is a dangerous deviation from their family friendly values.”

With hundreds of fans retweeting the actor, he posted a link to an online petition to being the dolls back, followed by his famous catchphrase from the show: "Here's the petition to sign to keep the toys on the shelves! This would be so fun to show the Florida mom. YeahBitch."

After the toy giant broke the news that the dolls would be going on an "indefinite sabbatical" on Monday, Bryan Cranston - who played meth maker Walter White for five series - tweeted: "I’m so mad, I’m burning my Florida Mom action figure in protest.”
