What happens? When female guests arrive they are given a small padlock to wear around their neck and the men will each receive a key, plus some flirty cards to really help things along. During the evening the girls and the guys have to find the key that fits the lock (all very symbolic isn’t it?), and when a match is found, they are entered into a prize draw and new lock and keys handed out. So all’s not lost if you don’t meet the other half or your dreams — you can still win a present!

Who goes there? People who are bored of meat market bars, cheesy chat-up lines and being set up by friends. They’re looking to meet new friends or partners in a fun, safe and comfortable environment (say the organisers).
