Tessa Peake-Jones becomes boss of Holby City

She tried acting, singing, striptease and cleaning – now Del Boy’s Raquel is becoming the boss of a hospital, as actress Tessa Peake-Jones joins Holby City.

The Only Fools and Horses star will play acting chief executive Imelda Cousins in the medical drama.

She takes over next month from current boss Henrik Hanssen, played by Guy Henry, who leaves the hospital in chaos after weeks of scandal, death threats and violence.

Peake-Jones said: "I'm loving the chance to come into the show as the top dog - working on all the wards andx bossing everyone around is just my cup of tea."

The show is broadcast at 8pm on Tuesday on BBC1.
