Taylor Swift hyped up her fans by posting a video on her social media accounts, days after she deleted all of her posts.

The 27-year-old singer made her return to Twitter and Instagram by posting a 10 second video of what appears to be a snake.

The distorted clip, which was uncaptioned, sparked a frenzy among fans who questioned whether the reptile was a reference to the time she was trolled with snake emojis following her feud with Kanye West over his song, Famous.

YouTube vlogger Alfie Deyes asked “what’s going on?” while one flustered fan tweeted “DID TYALOR JUST PSPT A CIDEO OF A F***** SNAKE I CANT BREBSHTE.”

Others joked that she was about to eclipse the total eclipse by announcing her highly anticipated sixth album. It has been nearly three years since she dropped her 1989 album in October 2014.

Some eagle-eyed fans claim they have discovered confirmation of her upcoming single, which will allegedly be called Timeless, on Genius.

One fan tweeted: “FINALLY!!!!! According to Genius, Taylor Swift's new single is called ‘Timeless’. A website with the name was created. #TS6.”

Swift left fans in shock when she wiped her social media pages and website completely clean on Friday.

The US pop star left her Twitter and Instagram accounts blank, while her Facebook page had no posts after 2015.

Her profile pictures were stripped away and she unfollowed everyone on her Twitter account.

The Blank Space singer has kept a relatively low profile since the breakdown of her highly publicised whirlwind romance with Tom Hiddleston.
