The stunning dress worn by Sophie Hunter at her wedding to Benedict Cumberbatch has been revealed.
Hunter, 37, who tied the knot with the Oscar nominated actor at a private ceremony in the Isle of Wight, shunned a traditional white gown in favour of a sweeping silver lace dress by Italian designer, Valentino.

The fashion powerhouse revealed the dress on their official Instagram account earlier today when they uploaded a picture of the theatre director modelling the gown, which highlighted her baby bump without drawing too much attention to it.
Hunter looked stunning as she posed in the high neck design featuring long sleeves and delicate vine embroidery detailing for a shoot by famous photographer Annie Leibovitz.

In an interview with Vogue, Hunter said of the dress: "It feels very much of nature, and it’s so detailed and extraordinary that I’m still trying to get my head around how beautiful it is."
She continued: "It seemed to encapsulate everything I'd been speaking about."
