Hollywood star Jennifer Aniston has told how preparing for her latest role as a stripper involved "lots of laughter - and stomach muscle work".

As she walked the red carpet for the premiere of her latest comedy We're The Millers, at London's Leicester Square, the former Friends star said the stripping scenes were "not easy".

Aniston, 44, stars alongside Jason Sudeikis pretending to be his wife and mother to characters played by British actor Will Poulter and Emma Roberts, as the fake family attempt to pull off a huge drug deal.

She said her memories of her stripping role were "lots of laughter and stomach muscle work."

She added: "I had an excellent choreographer who I worked with day and night. It was not easy but they made it look easy."

Talking about the support from her fans, she said: "It means the world to me, they are so loving, it makes me very happy."

Sudeikis, who also appeared alongside Aniston in the 2011 comedy Horrible Bosses, said of his co-star: "She's worked at such a high level with so many talented people and is incredibly talented herself."

Aniston, who is engaged to actor Justin Theroux, wore a prom-style floral dress to the premiere and was joined by director Rawson Marshall Thurber.

We're The Millers is released in cinemas on August 23.
