Stormzy can't stop smiling as he meets Adele on 'best day ever'

Stormzy has described meeting Adele as his “best day ever”.

The London-born grime artist, 23, met Adele backstage at his sold-out Brixton Academy gig and was all smiles as he posed next to her for a picture.

Clearly delighted, Stormzy, real name Michael Omari, shared the image on Twitter with his 690,000 million followers.

He posted it alongside a row of red heart emojis and the caption: “Best day ever.”

Adele is a huge fan of Stormzy’s music and was seen dancing and singing along with his mother at the gig.

Stormzy was aware that he had a famous fan in the crowd, and let the audience sing his lyric “You’re never too big for Adele.”

Adele has been vocal about her love for the grime star in the past, and even gave him a shout-out at one of her O2 gigs last year by dedicating Make You Feel My Love to him.

She said: “I want to dedicate this song to a guy from Thornton Heath, south London, aka Stormzy.

“I hope you have such a great time.”

Stormzy caught the moment on Snapchat and said he felt like he was “dreaming”.

Sharing the moment on Instagram he wrote: “Bro on my life I'm bugging right now how can I just be chilling then Adele says this them says the next song is dedicated to me then she sings ‘Make You Feel My Love’ bro am I dreaming right now.

“Nothing can steal my joy right now this woman is such a g. This has made my year I swear to you man is dreaminggggggggggg wtf lol bmt wtf.”
