Now the weather outside is frightful, Fearne Cotton, Mylene Klass and Mark Wright have donned their Christmas jumpers early.

The Saturdays singer Frankie Bridge, Made in Chelsea’s Rosie Fortescue, and The One Show host Alex Jones have also flung on their winter woolies to help raise money for Save the Children ahead of Save the Children Christmas Jumper Day campaign on Friday 12 November.

The campaign - which is now in its third year and has raised more than £1.6m to date –helps to save the lives of children in 120 countries.

It's Christmas! Celebs and their festive jumpers

1/13

BBC reporter Natasha Kaplinsky was pictured wearing a Christmas tree jumper, draped in tinsel with a Santa’s hat and holding up the mistletoe over her and a pet cat, while Jon Snow decorated his look with a snowman hand puppet.

Boy band Union J were sporting plenty of mistletoe, much to the delight of their fans no doubt.

But comedian Dom Joly failed to feel festive and instead looked like a grumpy Grinch as he posed wrapped up in tinsel with reindeer antlers and a Rudolph jumper.

Save the Children Christmas jumpers can be purchased from George at Asda. To find out more visit christmasjumperday.org
