Mel B has admitted that the fallout from her surprising claim about Geri Horner is still ongoing, claiming the singer "hates" her for saying they once had a one-night stand.

Back in March, Mel B appeared in a headline-grabbing episode of Piers Morgan's Life Stories, during which she said she had slept with her Spice Girls bandmate in the late '90s.

Now Mel, 44, has admitted Horner is not over the shock confession, despite the fact they went on the road together for the Spice World reunion tour this summer.

Speaking on Thursday's episode of ITV's Loose Women, Mel said: ''God, it was strange. For me, the whole thing was... I think she probably hated me for a bit, she probably still does.

“But we all love each other. I've got a loud mouth so what can you do.''

Ginger Spice previously denied Mel's claim via her rep, who said earlier this year: “It has been very disappointing to read about all these rumours again, especially on Mother’s Day of all days.

“Geri is really grateful for your support and loyalty for so many years. She loves the Spice Girls: Emma, Melanie, Melanie and Victoria. She would like you to know that what has been reported recently is simply not true and has been very hurtful to her family.”

The Loose Women panel also quizzed Mel on the future of the Spice Girls but she refused to comment on whether the entire band had a meeting in London this week.

The singer said: ''How do you know everything? I'm not gonna say anything. I always overshare and get myself in trouble so I'm not saying anything.''

Mel's comment about oversharing come just a few days after she claimed the band would be meeting to discuss performing at Glastonbury next year.

Alleging that Victoria Beckham is keen to rejoin the band for the performance, she said: “I think if you are just going to do Glastonbury then let’s just go on tour and do the rest of Europe.”

Beckham declined the chance to join her bandmates for the 2019 Spice World reunion tour, but Mel previously said she will be a part of their upcoming animated film.

She told he audience at her speaking tour date on Sunday: “We are definitely signed on board to do that. All five of us, yes.”

“Victoria is Victoria,” she added. “She’s made an amazing career based on the Spice Girls. She’s got a fashion empire and she’s done amazingly well.

“But you can’t beat being Posh Spice in the Spice Girls, can you? You can’t beat that.”

Mel first let slip that Victoria was up for Glastonbury to on comedian Mo Gilligan's The Lateish Show in July.
