Singer Sarah Harding was this morning accused of lip syncing her way through a performance of her new song.

Harding, 33, faced an onslaught of criticism on Twitter following the performance of her debut single Threads on ITV's Lorraine.

Viewers were far from impressed by the act with one mocking the phrase "singing out the show" by tweeting: "Here's Sarah Harding 'miming' us out @ITVLorraine."

Another was critical of the distance between Harding and the microphone, posting: "Sarah Harding was stood half a mile away from the mic half of the time..#Lorraine @ITVLorraine."=

Others were quick to blast the performance as the worst lip syncing they had ever seen.

One user tweeted: “Sarah Harding lip syncing on Lorraine Potentially the worst I've ever seen! #Lorraine.”

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en-gb">&#13; <p dir="ltr" lang="en">Sarah Harding lip syncing on Lorraine  Potentially the worst I've ever seen! <a rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Lorraine?src=hash" class="body-link" data-vars-item-name="BL-2324176-https://twitter.com/hashtag/Lorraine?src=hash" data-vars-event-id="c23">#Lorraine</a>&#13; — Josie Louise Perry (@JosiePea) <a rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="https://twitter.com/JosiePea/status/629567945593765888" class="body-link" data-vars-item-name="BL-2324176-https://twitter.com/JosiePea/status/629567945593765888" data-vars-event-id="c23">August 7, 2015</a>

And one fan offered the singer some advice on how to learn how to lip sync.

"Feel that Sarah Harding needs to watch some lip syncing from @RuPaulsDragRace. Sloppy and not at all fabulous," they tweeted.

The criticism comes days after her Coronation Street debut was slated by fans of the show and critics.

The singer-turned-actress played Joni Preston - the wife of Tracy Barlow's ex-husband Robert Preston - but was told to take acting lessons.

But despite the negative comments Harding revealed that she did not pay attention to the criticism.

"I try not to pay any attention to that," she told Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes on This Morning.

"If you're going in as a known face, you're always going to get flak. If anything, I turn all that into positive energy. It just makes me more determined."
