Rita Ora is using her new single Poison to slam an ex-boyfriend.

The singer, who recently broke up with long-term boyfriend Calvin Harris, has admitted that her new track ‘Poison’ is about ‘bad luck’ in her personal life, but doesn’t name the ex responsible.

Talking to Clash magazine, the 23-year-old said: "'Poison' is about my bad luck with love."

In the lyrics, Rita compares her former partner to a snake and the devil – not exactly what every ex would want to hear.

Rita has not confirmed which ex she is referring to.

In June, Calvin Harris announced that the two had split, after a year-long relationship.

He took to Twitter to say: “To address speculation - myself and Rita ended our relationship some time ago. She is a beautiful, talented woman & I wish her all the best.”

Rita also dated Rob Kardashian at the start of her climb to fame, with things ending in 2012.

Rob did not take the split well, tweeting: "She cheated on me with nearly 20 dudes while we were together... But I mean 20?!!!!"

Rita declined to respond to Rob’s allegation publically.
