Richard E Grant has officially won the Oscars.

The British actor proved he is living his best life as he snapped himself with a slew of Hollywood’s biggest stars at the Oscars Nominee Luncheon.

Grant, who is nominated for his supporting role in Can You Ever Forgive Me?, joked he was suffering from “smiling-rictus” as he posed for selfies with everyone from Bradley Cooper to Glenn Close.

Grant appeared to spend the majority of the annual luncheon at the Beverley Hilton in Los Angles fangirling over his fellow nominees including Lady Gaga, Rami Malek, Rachel Weisz and Spike Lee.

He tweeted: “You’ll understand why I am blurred and enduring ‘Smiling-rictus’ syndrome after meeting all these folk at the Academy Awards Nominees lunch today!!!”

He captioned another collection of snaps: “And some more!!! This is now getting beyond ‘pinch yourself’ - more like ‘punch yourself ’ SwaziGuy!!!! Living the dream.”

He looked ecstatic at getting Close and Sam Elliott for a group shot, while another shows Amy Adams and Regina King posing over his shoulders.

Grant is no stranger to embracing being star struck and recently broke down in tears after Barbara Streisand replied to a letter he penned 47 years ago.

Grant wrote to the Woman In Love singer when he was 14, offering her a holiday at his “very beautiful” home in Swaziland so she can “rest and not be mobbed in the street”.

Streisand thanked him for the “wonderful letter” and congratulated him on his latest film.

An emotional Grant thanked Streisand, 76, for her “generous” response and “not having him arrested” when he had a photoshoot outside her California home.

Grant will hit the red carpet at the 91st Academy Awards later this month. The ceremony is currently without a host for the first time in decades after Kevin Hart stepped down over past homophobic tweets.

Presenters will this year include former Golden Globes hosts Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, Daniel Craig, Chris Evans, Jennifer Lopez, Tessa Thompson and Best Actress winners Brie Larson and Charlize Theron.

Other names include Crazy Rich Asians stars Awkwafina and Constance Wu, Whoopi Goldberg, Maya Rudolph and Amandla Stenberg.

The 91st Academy Awards are on February 24
