Rebel Wilson has hit out at the Kaedashians, saying they aren't really about talent.

Wilson, 35, discussed Kim Kardashian's sex tape and rise to fame compared to her hard work in acting school.

Speaking to Kiss FM's Kyle and Jackie O she said: "I know they’re super popular, but I am all about personality and working hard to get where I am.

“I mean how Kim Kardashian got famous from the sex tape and I just went to acting school and worked really hard.”

The Pitch Perfect actress revealed that she was asked to present an award with Kylie and Kendall Jenner at the MTV Video Music Awards but turned down the offer.

Wilson explained: “I got asked to present with Kendall and Kylie at the recent VMAs and said ‘no’. It’s not that you hate any of them individually, but it’s just that everything they stand for is against everything I stand for. And they’re not famous for talent. I worked really hard to get where I’ve got to.”

Wilson's comments come a day after X Factor judge Nick Grimshaw hit out at Kim Kardashian for leading young fans to believe that having "nothing to say" is the way to achieve happiness.

"Fame is a tricky one," he told Radio Times. "If you're Amy Winehouse and famous for writing great songs, that's great but it blows my mind that so many people engage with someone like Kim Kardashian.

"She's got nothing to say, no opinions on anything. I'd hate teenagers to think that's the way to be happy because it's not – it's fake.
