Professor Green has revealed he used to have a “panic attack” before facing Millie Mackintosh after a night out.

The rapper - real name Stephen Manderson – said the pair would argue over his inability to come home before the early hours of the morning after a night out with friends.

Green – who divorced the former Made in Chelsea star in May – said he used to arrive home with countless missed calls on his phone and his ‘tail between his legs’.

Speaking to The Sun about his new song One Eye On The Door, which documents the rows, he said: “I think she’ll probably say, ‘Well at least he’s being honest about that. That definitely happened once or twice’.

“It’s a song that was probably written after a time I got in trouble. I wrote that over a year ago.

“The whole song is just about when you say, ‘Yeah, I’ll be home early, I promise’, then your mates go, ‘Come on, stay for one more drink’. Then one more drink turns into someone’s kitchen, staying up until God knows what hour putting the world to rights.”

He continued: “Then sunlight starts to appear through the curtains and you realise you have to face the music.

“You turn on your phone and have a panic attack about the text messages and missed calls.

“Then you go back with your tail between your legs saying, ‘I’m really sorry, I won’t do it again’ . . . until next week.”

Lyrics on his new song include: “S***, I’m dead – I don’t know where the time went. Where’s my phone? S***, 61 missed calls. A divorce is on the cards if I don’t split and get my a*** in gear.”

In another line, he says: “I’ll probably get kicked out of my house, ’til I come back with a brand new Chanel bag and shoes but I refuse to wave a white towel.”

Green propesed to Mackintosh – who is the heiress to the Quality Street empire – on March 25, 2013.

They tied the knot in September of the same year at a lavish ceremony at Babington House in Somerset.

Mackintosh has since rekindled her relationship with her ex, and former Made in Chelsea star, Hugo Taylor.
