Prince tour tickets sale postponed at last minute as angry fans vent on Twitter
Prince’s tour ticket sale has been postponed at the last minute.
Frustrated fans took to Twitter on Friday morning after website Ticketmaster announced the cancellation at 9am, just one hour before they were due to go on sale.
One person wrote: “I moved my morning around so I could be available to get Prince tickets and I've just found out the sale has been postponed?! #prince.”
“Got out of bed especially to buy Prince tickets. How could they. Gah,” wrote another.

The ticketing website is yet to announce why the ticket sale has been cancelled or whether or not it will take place at another time.
The Purple Rain hitmaker had been scheduled to perform three UK shows next month in London, Glasgow and Birmingham.

The ‘stripped back’ concerts are part of a 16-date European tour, which was only announced last week.
Speaking at a press conference, Prince told the crowd: “Why do this now? For several reasons.
“For starters it is a challenge. I do not want to have bad reviews, but not back to what I'm sure I can do because I've done for 30 years.
“You have to try new things. With the piano it is more naked, more pure. You can see exactly what you get.”
