Tourette's sufferer Pete has opened up about his condition during a heart-to-heart with fellow housemate Glyn

The two chatted during a midnight run around the garden after Glyn asked Pete how he had coped at school.

Pete said: "I was five when I first noticed it, but we went to the doctors and they said there was nothing wrong. I was 14 when I was properly diagnosed."

Keen to find out more, Glyn asked him how he had coped with the condition as a child.

Pete replied: "I was put in a special school. I suppose it was better than being picked on."

Glyn said he had made sure there was no bullying at his school.

"There's nothing worse than being picked on. As I'm head boy at my school, I make sure there's no bullying. Being bullied is just the worst thing that can happen. Why should any one person be allowed to make another's life hell?"
Pete agreed, saying: "It lasts for ever, you know."

Earlier, the Big Brother housemates' summer song knowledge was put to the test in a Name That Tune challenge.

The housemates then went on to give their vocal cords a work out after correctly identifying enough summer songs to win themselves a barbecue.

The group were played the intros to five songs and successfully named three to win the outdoor feast yesterday.

As soon as the first beat of the first tune was played, Nikki jumped to her feet screeching: "It's my favourite song" before correctly identifying the Wham! classic Club Tropicana.

Next up was Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince's anthem Summer Time which Lisa rightly named.

Nelly's Hot In Herre was the third summer number and the housemates scored their second win in two days.

The task appeared to have struck a chord with the group and the tuneful bunch continued to belt out dance floor favourites while downing a few of jugs of Pimms provided with the barbecue.

"Appreciate us," Lisa shouted. "Appreciate our wonderful voices."

However, not everyone in the group appeared to appreciate the sound of music as Aisleyne and Susie complained about the noise.

The barbecue was the second treat for the group in two days after they won a luxury party for completing what was one of the most unpleasant tasks to date.

The show's bosses laid on bubbly, beer, sushi and canapes following the housemates' success in the Death Breath test.

The test involved smelling each other's breath and guessing what they had just eaten.
