Not everything is awesome for the Lego Movie, whose director Phil Lord tweeted a picture of a Lego Academy Award after the film failed to secure a nomination for best animation.

The Warner Bro’s hit was snubbed in the best animated feature category which saw nominations handed to Big Hero 6, The Box Trolls, How To Train Your Dragon 2, Song of the Sea and The Tale Of Princess Kaguya.

The film received one nomination for original song for Everything is Awesome .
