One Direction superfan sits next to idol Harry Styles during 10-hour flight
A One Direction fan was shocked to find that she was sitting just a couple of seats away from idol Harry Styles during a recent flight.
Alex Lomas, a self-confessed superfan from Manchester, documented her run-in with the pop star in a series of Twitter and Instagram posts.
Making her the envy of Directioners everywhere, Lomas detailed how she’d had a ‘long chat’ with Styles during the 10-hour flight from LA to Manchester.
After posting a number of pictures of the pair together, she wrote: “You were so lovely and you took your time to have a nice long chat with me thank you so much !!!”

Letting her followers in on the one-on-one converstion that the pair had on board the flight, she said:
“He took his time with me and we carted for ages and we were laughing and joking it was amazing.

“We were chatting about how tired we both are and how is going home for home Christmas.”
She added: “He was asleep for ages and he looked bloody adorable @ Manchester…”
The One Direction boys flew back to the UK at the beginning of the month to appear at the BBC Music Awards and on The X Factor grand final.
After Christmas they will be embarking on a prolonged ‘hiatus’ to pursue their own projects.
