Naughty Boy teases collaboration with Cheryl and X Factor winners Rak-Su

Naughty Boy has teased a possible collaboration with Cheryl and X Factor winners Rak-Su.

The 33-year-old DJ, real name Shahid Khan, hinted that the former Girls Aloud star could be making her pop comeback with boy band Rak Su in tow.

A picture, posted on Instagram, shows Khan standing alongside Cheryl and the members of Rak-Su, with the La La La DJ telling fans to “watch this space”.

He wrote: “SQUAD @raksuraksu @cherylofficial #fblock #naughty #music #watchthisspace”

X Factor champions Rak Su recently released their winning single Dimelo featuring a collaboration with rapper Wyclef Jean and Khan.

The group, comprised of Ashley Fongo, Jamaal Shurland, Mustafa Rahimtulla and Myles Stephenson, rose to fame when they won they won the fourteenth series of the reality show in 2017 after being mentored by music mogul Simon Cowell.

Cheryl first met the band during the time on the show during Judges’ Houses when she helped Cowell make the decision to put the group through to the live shows.

The picture follows news that Cheryl is set to return to the X Factor judging panel, according to host Dermot O’Leary.

Speaking to the Metro he said: "Cheryl’s going to come back.”

O’Leary quipped that if Cheryl was not to return he would like Mariah Carrey to join the line-up.

He added: “If it wasn’t Cheryl, I would love Mariah. It would be a whole new world of crazy my friend!"
