Miley Cyrus has shut down “dumb” split rumours as she celebrated her 10-year anniversary with husband Liam Hemsworth.

Cyrus marked a decade since the pair met on the set of The Last Song in 2009 when Cyrus was 17 and Hemsworth was 19.

Posting a snap of a headline speculating over their relationship, Cyrus wrote: “Happy 10 year anniversary my love.

“It’s good to know everyone is as dumb as they were in 2009! Some things never change … & I hope the way you feel about me is one of them. Yours truly.”

The singer then posted a still of their pair enjoying their first kiss in June 2009 on the set of the Nicholas Sparks adaptation, followed by a different image referencing their engagement which they first announced in 2012.

Cyrus wrote: “Started digging you in 2009. S*** got deep,” she wrote alongside a ring emoji.

“HBD to my #1… When we met you were 19, today you are 29,” she wrote on Instagram and Twitter.

“I thought I could share some of my favourite things about my favourite dude in honour of this very special day.

“The way you look at me, the way you look at our dogs… our pigs, our horses, our cats, our fish. The way you look at your family… your friends… at strangers… at life. The look on your face when you receive good news and how you look at the bad news.”

She then jokingly listed all the “bad things” including his fondness for leaving “dirty socks on the floor”.
