Michelle Keegan looked radiant as ever despite suffering from flu as she shared a topless selfie on her Instagram Stories.

The Our Girl star revealed that she’d been unable to enjoy the Bank Holiday weekend in the post, which showed her lying in bed while looking straight into the camera.

In the background, her bedside table was covered with medicines, tissues and a large water bottle.

“Day 4 of this flu!!!!” she captioned the post, asking followers: “How was your bank holiday weekend??”

The former soap star's latest social media snap presents a marked departure from her recent slew of sun-soaked holiday posts, which showed Keegan and husband Mark Wright embracing the sunny weather in Barbados.

The 31-year-old was branded “perfection” by fans as she shared a photo of herself “bringing some 80s vibes to the beach” in an intricate cut-out swimsuit last month.

Followers asked if the star was “even real” in a series of awed responses, with commenters describing Keegan as “stunning” and “a perfect example of beauty.”

The actress also posted a similar snap in which she posed alongside her husband, weeks after she slammed speculation about their marriage.

“No one knows how much we see each other because we don’t publicise it,” she told Daily Star’s TV Life magazine.

“People say, ‘Ah, they haven’t seen each other for ages,’ but they don’t know.

“My marriage is my business. It’s private and I don’t care if someone thinks it’s bad and that we’ve got different careers. Yeah we have, and I’m proud of that.”

Wright recently quit his presenting job with US TV show Extra in order to return to the UK to spend more time with Keegan.

“I’m no longer living in LA,” he told The Sun.

“I was there for nearly two years and had the most amazing time. It just feels like the right time to come back to the UK and live here with my wife and family.”
