Michael Jackson’s dad Joe is dying and his family aren’t allowed to see him, Jermaine Jackson has claimed.

Jermaine told how the Jackson patriarch is “frail and doesn’t have long” left to live in a shocking interview.

He claimed the family, including Joe’s wife Katherine, had been barred from visiting the 88-year-old.

Speaking to the DailyMail, he said: "No one knew what was going on – we shouldn’t have to beg, plead, and argue to see our own father, especially at a time like this.

“We have been hurting. We were not being told where he was and couldn't get the full picture. Even from the doctor.”

He added: “My mother was worried sick. He’s very, very frail, he doesn’t have long. The family needs to be by his bedside – that’s our only intention in his final days.

“It’s what any family would want, but some people around him think they know better…and they don’t.”

According to the publication, the musician’s sons and daughters were in a series of heated discussions over their father’s situation.

Jermaine claimed that it was only following an emergency Jackson family meeting in which they pleaded with Joe’s manager that they were able to see him on Tuesday night.
