Louise Thompson and Ryan Libbey engaged: Made in Chelsea star says 'I’ve been crying solidly for three days'
Made in Chelsea star Louise Thompson has announced her engagement to boyfriend Ryan Libbey.
The 28-year-old told how her reality star boyfriend dropped to one knee in Las Vegas earlier this month to pop the question.
Speaking to OK! Magazine, Thompson said: “I’m still shell-shocked. I’ve been crying solidly for three days. It’s the most exciting thing that’s ever happened to me in my entire life
“Ryan and I have known that we want to spend the rest of our lives together for quite a long time. I love him more and more every day, which sounds so clichéd, but it’s the truth.”
Thompson added that her other half proposed on his birthday after asking her to go for a hike. He found a private spot and told her he would like more than a birthday wish before popping the big question.
The star recalled: “He dropped to one knee and opened the box. I had to catch my breath because I thought I was going to faint.
“I was incredibly overwhelmed as it’s something I’ve wanted my entire life.”
Opening up on his ‘secret mission’, Libbey told the publication: “‘I’ve been on a secret mission for so long with this ring hidden in my backpack for weeks.
“Every time we were going through airport security I weed myself.”
The pair, who met in 2016, began dating when Libbey joined the reality show as a former model turned personal trainer.
