Former Made In Chelsea stars Binky Felstead and Josh “JP” Patterson have split up 15 months after welcoming their daughter India.

The reality TV couple previously split before rekindling their relationship in March 2017 ahead the arrival of their baby girl.

Felstead confirmed the news on Monday afternoon, posting an emotional statement on her Twitter page.

"It is with a heavy heart that we have to tell you that we have decided to separate as a couple," she wrote.

"We are still a family and India is, and will always be the light of our lives, however we have realised we are on very different paths at the moment. Although we still adore each other, we need to give each other space to grow."

The joint statement - posted over a picture of the family of three - said that there "aren't secrets" and that they have a "deep respect" for each other and their family before asking for privacy at this time.

Earlier on Monday, a source told The Sun: “Binky and JP haven’t got on for a long time.

“They felt under pressure to stay together for India but after months of trying have realised it’s better for everyone if they separate.

“Josh absolutely loves being a father to India and runs a number of his own businesses which keep him busy and Binky has a lot of separate commitments too.”

They added that Felstead, whose real name is Alexandra, had shown her support for Patterson at the Berlin marathon which he competed in a wheelchair.

Felstead gave birth to the couple’s first child in June 2017, having announced their happy pregnancy news in January.

Soon after the birth, the couple – who met on E4’s Made In Chelsea – featured in their own spin-off show for the channel about their journey into parenthood and the first few weeks as a family of three.
