Love Island couple Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham have ended their relationship.

Fincham announced the break up in a post on his Instagram Stories.

He wrote: "There is no easy way to say this and it isn't going to be an easy time but me an Dani are not in a relationship anymore.

"We will always care a lot for each other and have love for each other and I mean that from the bottom of my heart and I wish her nothing but happiness.

"We have some amazing memories together and have been through a lot but sometimes things aren't meant to be and we really did try to make it work but it unfortunately didn't and that is life.

"That's all I have to say, a break up is hard enough as it is for both of us let alone in the public eye so I hope everyone is considerate and understands this. X."

The Love Island winners called time on relationship in December, before the couple announced shortly after that they’d decided to give things another go.

“Me and Jack are absolutely fine… we love each other,” she said on The Jonathan Ross Show.

“When we first came out of Love Island, we moved into a flat together and we started filming [our own] show,” she told Ross.

“It was sort of way too much and our flat became a work home. It was really hard because we weren’t having those exciting times where you miss each other.

“He’ll drink a can of Coke and then leave it in the fridge… then I would get so upset about it and we’d be rowing over a towel, the row would be over a towel because I’d be like, ‘Where is your respect for me?’ It’s always over something silly.”

Dyer previously admitted that she and Fincham, 27, had made the decision to live separately after failing to come to an agreement on a location.

“Jack didn’t want to live in Essex and I didn’t want to live in south London so we thought we’d both get our own places and live between them,” she told The Sun earlier this week.

“We’re building [the relationship] back slowly. We’d both moved out of our areas and to Wapping together, where we had none of our home comforts.”
