Lord Sugar unknowingly created a new catchphrase when he sent a series of ‘drunk’ tweets while on a night out.

The businessman, 68, told his followers that he was “totaly p**s” after “3 Queens Park quirkies”.

The Apprentice star also enjoyed “Freat food” at Trader Vic’s London where he has dined for 30 years.

He posted: “I am at the trader vic at the traders vic Hilton hotel. Been coming here for 30 years have to say fantastic food . Forgot about it.

High on life and content with his evening he declared himself “atvtgect”.

No one is entirely sure what the word means, or was meant to mean, but it hasn’t stopped people from using it to describe their moods.

Piers Morgan was among the first to make light of Lord Sugar's tweets, posting: “If anyone is at @TraderVicsLDN, please put @Lord_Sugar in a cab. He's clearly intoxicated & about to do something he'd regret, but I'd love.”

The Amstrad founder is a fan of expressing himself on Twitter and recently hit out at former candidate Scott Saunders after tweeting about Donald Trump's comments.

Tagging the Republican candidate, Lord Sugar posted: “Must have heard via advisers he has no chance of being elected. So he is going out with a bang by being totally outrageous.”

One user replied: “Or was the whole thing a publicity exercise, with no wish to be Pres? Always intended to drop out?”

To which, Lord Sugar quipped: “Yeh a bit like Scott on the Apprentice.”
