Lauren Goodger splits with boyfriend Jake Mclean

Lauren Goodger has split up with her boyfriend Jake Mclean.

The former The Only Way is Essex star has been left heartbroken just before Christmas after her relationship with the property developer ended following a string of bitter rows.

A source said: "Lauren and Jake have been rowing for weeks and they've decided to call it a day.

"Lauren's devastated but it just wasn't right any more. Jake wasn't the guy she'd hoped he was."

Jake has moved out of the home he shared with Lauren for six months and the brunette beauty has been going on boozy nights out in order to numb her pain.

The source said: "It has turned quite nasty, and Lauren's just enjoying taking her mind off it with her friends."

A spokesman for Lauren told the Daily Mirror: "We can confirm that Lauren has split up with Jake and asked him to move out three weeks ago.

"Lauren's OK, she has been through worse and is just focusing on enjoying Christmas and looking forward to what 2014 brings."

Meanwhile, Lauren's ex-fiancé Mark Wright has recently bought a £2 million house with his fiancée Michelle Keegan.
