Laura Dern dreams of performing on the West End stage

Laura Dern's children are so close to her The Fault In Our Stars co-star Shailene Woodley that she even has her own room in her house.

The Oscar nominated actress says it made sense because the 22-year is always at her place anyway.

Laura told London Live: "My kids, they've been her date to awards shows. She comes over and picks up my kids and goes to things with them.. I never get asked. They literally are her dates to do stuff.

"I was on location on another movie and I called my house and she was there cooking for my kids... in my house."She kind of lives with us. It's the best thing that ever happened."Laura added: "She has her own room now. She does, She literally does."

The actress, who studied at RADA, also confirmed that she wants to make her West End debut in the near future.

She explained: "That would be amazing. I would love to do it, it's a dream. Having studied at RADA it was a great dream to do theatre here. I have just finished a film with Andrew Garfield who I love dearly so we were talking a lot about being on the stage here. It would be amazing so I pray that one day..."

When asked if she would like to make her London debut alongside the The Amazing Spider-man actor she gushed: "That would be incredible, incredible, so let's cook it up. Maybe I just take tea on stage for two hours?"
