Kristina Rihanoff has revealed that she’s buried the hatchet with Ben Cohen’s family since giving birth to their daughter.

The former Strictly star, who started dating the rugby player following the breakdown of his 11-year marriage to Abby Cohen in 2014, credits the ‘accidental’ pregnancy with rebuilding bridges.

Speaking about her five-month-old daughter Milenia on Lorraine, Rihanoff said: “Ben is lovely with her. They get on so well. It was an accidental pregnancy.

“I think having a baby completely changes your outlook on the situation.

“Everything becomes so secondary and insignificant… when you have true feelings for each other you understand that this is meant to be.”

The professional dancer went on to say that they had recently been on holiday with Cohen’s children from his marriage to Abby.

“We do all have to get on and we do. We just went on a family holiday to Dubai together and they’re incredible sisters to Milena.

“I think it’s just brought everybody closer.”

Rihanoff and Cohen met when they were partnered together on Strictly in 2013, although they maintain that they didn’t start a romantic relationship until after Cohen had split from his wife.

The dancer gave birth to her first child on June 24 after a complicated 19-hour labour.
