Kim Kardashian has admitted her 72-day marriage was "embarrassing".

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians starlet's union with Kris Humphries broke down just over two months after tying the knot in a lavish televised ceremony in August 2011 and Kim admitted she is mortified that it ended so quickly.

She told heat magazine: "Obviously when you fall in love and it's happening so fast and it's on a TV show and you get married on a TV and it doesn't work out the way everyone had hoped it would, it's kind of embarrassing.

"So you don't wanna open yourself up as much and you wanna keep things more private."

However, Kim, 31, hasn't completely learned her lesson as she says she would consider showing aspects of her new relationship with Kanye West on her reality TV show.

She said: "It's real life and if we're filming and Kanye comes to pick me up I'm not gonna tell the cameras to stop."

Meanwhile, curvy Kim also revealed she is sick of talking about her famous derriere and doesn't understand why people are so interested in it.

She said: "I don't get the fact, like, why it's talked about. I don't get it. Sometimes I get bored of talking about it. Most women have one."
