Kim Kardashian and Kanye West name newborn baby son Saint West
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have announced the name of their newborn son – Saint West.
Kardashian, 35, revealed the name on her website kimkardashianwest.com, just two days after giving birth to the baby boy.
Under a post titled ‘To Our Fans’ she wrote: “Saint West, 12.05.15, 8 pounds 1 ounce.”
The post was accompanied by four emojis depicting the family.

Saint West does not appear to have a middle name, despite reports suggesting that the A-list couple may choose Robert in honour of Kardashian’s late father.

There was a mixed reaction on Twitter following the announcement of the moniker with some calling for a moment of silence on Twitter while others compared it to the name of a sophisticated candle.

Kardashian – who already has daughter North, two, with West – gave birth to the couple’s second child on Saturday morning.
The news was announced on Kardashian's website and app in a message titled: "KANYE AND I WELCOME OUR BABY BOY!"
The message read: "Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West welcomed the arrival of their son this morning. Mother and son are doing well."
She also confirmed the news on her Twitter account. Alongside a picture of herself and West holding hands she wrote: "He's here!"
