Kendall Jenner has defended herself after she was accused of failing to tip a bartender.

The 21-year-old model was named and shamed after leaving Baby’s All Right in New York.

The bar posted a picture of what they claimed to be Jenner’s $24 bill on Instagram which appeared to have been paid by credit card. The tip section had been left blank.

The picture, which has since been deleted, was captioned: “Don't forget to tip your bartender :).”

Jenner faced a barrage of abuse with some calling her a “joke” while another said: “It's a sad world.... Your own fans work in the service industry and you can't leave a tip for a $24 tab!!!!”

But Jenner fired back at the accusation claiming she tipped using cash.

She tweeted: “Damn, I guess next time we won't tip in cash.”

It comes months after Jenner found herself in hot water after advertising a line of new band T-shirts emblazoned with her and her sister Kylie’s faces over the top of acts including Pink Floyd and The Doors.

Sharon Osbourne – who is married to Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne – tweeted: “Girls, you haven’t earned the right to put your face with musical icons. Stick to what you know…lip gloss.”

Biggie Smalls’ mother accused the Jenner sisters of “exploiting” the deaths of Biggie and Tupac Shakur and claimed the Notorious B.I.G estate was not approached about the designs.

The clothing, which was branded “disrespectful and disgusting,” was later pulled and the sisters issued apologies, telling fans they were sorry for causing offence.
