Katie Price tells Loose Women she went to abort son Harvey three times

Katie Price has revealed she went to a clinic three times to abort her first child, but said she couldn’t go through with it.

Price, 37, said she considered terminating her pregnancy when she was carrying son Harvey.

Speaking during a Loose Women discussion on abortion, the former glamour model said: “I went three times to abort him but I didn't actually go through with it. I sat there with the cloak on, you're there with all the women and you all know what you’re there for.

“But in the end I thought 'stuff it, I'm earning money’ - I wasn't with the guy - and I carried on having Harvey.”

Price – who has five children – admitted to having more than one abortion and said she was not “proud” of the decisions.

"I’m not proud of it, but it’s one of them things and there is no easy way to talk about abortion,” she said.

"I've had a couple, it's because I'm so bloody fertile as you can tell."

Price previously revealed that as a young mother she would have considered an abortion had she known Harvey would be born with disabilities.

The 11-year-old was born blind and suffers from autism, ADHD and Prader-Willi syndrome.

She told her Loose Women co-stars that she feared she would be unable to cope with a blind child.

Price – who had Harvey with Dwight Yorke – said the thought would never cross her mind if she now fell pregnant with a disabled child and revealed she would adopt a child with disabilities.
