Katie Hopkins is struggling to find guests to star on her TV show as she is "too nasty", according to reports.

Hopkins, 40 - who is famed for vocalising her controversial opinions on topics from obesity to migrants - was in talks to launch her own primetime TV show on TLC, but no one has signed up to appear on the show.

According to the Daily Mirror a source revealed: “They can’t find anyone who wants to go on it.

“She is too controversial, too nasty. The bottom line is, no one likes her. Why would you want to go and speak to her?”

The Celebrity Big Brother runner-up featured on previous TLC show My Fat Story which was the channels highest-rated programme since it launched in April 2013.

Hopkins gained and lost three stone in order to experience obesity following a string of controversial comments she had made about being overweight.

The TV personality faced a fierce backlash earlier this week after she referred to migrants as "cockroaches" and suggested using gunships to "send them home" in her column for The Sun.

A petition to have her sacked as a columnist has since attracted more than 250,000 signatures
