Katie Hopkins and Charlotte Church have been offered £100,000 by BoxNation to take part in a charity boxing match following their recent Twitter spat.

The pair, who fell out on the social networking site last week, could well come to blows if they accept the boxing channel’s sizable offer.

Managing director, Jim McMunn said: “If these two want it to happen in the ring then BoxNation will make it happen.

“We immediately guarantee a purse of £100k for their nominated charities and we look forward to facilitating this showdown. Boxing is the ultimate one on one. Twitter and social media becomes a cowardly nonsense.”

Church originally raised the idea of a charity boxing match after a follower suggested that they settle their differences in the ring.

The spat began when Hopkins hit out at Church’s involvement in an anti-Conservative rally in the lead up to the general election.

She wrote on Twitter: “Oi! @charlottechurch wind your neck in. Your Welsh AND you lost. Own your problems.”

To which Church replied: “I have no interest in ever conversing with you. You lack humility AND you can't spell. Parasite.”

She added: “Fancy a charity boxing match.”

While Hopkins didn’t directly reply to the star, she did retweet a number of people who seemed keen for the physical fight to happen.
