Katie Holmes breaks silence over Jamie Foxx split rumours

Katie Holmes has denied reports claiming she has called time on her relationship with Jamie Foxx.

The couple, who have never publicly confirmed they are an item, were said to have split up over “trust issues”, according to Radar Online.

But a representative for Holmes shut down the reports, telling PEOPLE that the “story is 100 per cent untrue.”

The comment from Leslie Sloane is also the first time their alleged relationship has been commented on officially.

The pair were rumoured to be dating as far back as 2013. Pictures obtained by TMZ of the private couple appeared to confirm their romance last September after they were snapped hand-in-hand on a Malibu beach.

They then put on a cosy display at the Clive Davis and Recording Academy Pre-GRAMMY Gala in January.

Holmes and Foxx are believed to have met at a party in New York in 2013, about a year after Holmes' divorce from Tom Cruise.

It was then claimed that a clause in the divorce settlement had banned Holmes from dating publicly for five years.

Holmes split from Cruise, with whom she shares daughter Suri, after six years of marriage.
