Justin Bieber will work with manager Scooter Braun’s company Mythos Studios to produce animated movie, Cupid, providing the voice for the titular role.

The company, founded in March by Braun and original Marvel man David Maisel, will work on a film turning the mythological creature who shoots bows at people to make them fall in love into an animated film on the big screen.

It has been suggested that Canadian singer Bieber will also act as the voice of Cupid, with the singer teasing the movie on his Instagram page.

In a statement, Braun said: “When this project was brought to Justin, he instantly was excited to be a part of it. Fortunately for us, like Cupid, he knows a little bit about love and mischief.

“Both myself and Scooter have a lifelong love of mythology and we are so excited to partner with Justin to bring the amazing, magical story of Cupid to the world,” added Maisel.

Earlier this year, it was reported that Bieber, 24, is making a “Christian appropriate” album to reflect his “spirituality”.

He is allegedly on the lookout for Christian-centric songs after reconnecting with his faith through the Hillsong Church.

A source told The Sun: “Justin is on the lookout for songs which really reflect where he is in his life in terms of spirituality.

“He has always been religious but the last two years have seen him grow closer to the Hillsong Church and it has changed his entire life. He has a totally different outlook now.

“There are key themes of love and redemption in the tracks he has created so far. It will certainly surprise some fans.”
