Justin Bieber has asked fans to “pray for him” after revealing that he is “struggling a lot” and “feeling disconnected and weird”.

The singer, who recently turned 25, gave fans an update on his mental health just weeks after recent reports suggested that Bieber had pushed back a wedding ceremony date to focus on his “mental wellbeing”.

Penning an emotional statement on his Instagram, Bieber wrote: “Just wanted to keep you guys updated a little bit hopefully what I’m going through will resonate with you guys. Been struggling a lot. Just feeling super disconnected and weird.

“I always bounce back so I’m not worried just wanted to reach out and ask for your guys to pray for me.”

He concluded his post by telling fans that their “prayers really work” and that “God is faithful”.

Last month, it was claimed that Bieber had pushed back his religious wedding ceremony to Hailey Baldwin, who he married officially last year, to focus on his “mental wellbeing”.

“They will have a wedding ceremony with family and friends eventually,” a source told PEOPLE.

“However, right now, Justin’s focus is getting well mentally. Justin is doing okay. He is very focused and committed to getting help. Hailey is very supportive — Justin is very open about that Hailey does nothing but help him.”

The loved-up pair were first linked last summer after reports suggested that they had rekindled their romance. Bieber then proposed to the model on holiday in the Bahamas.

They were rumoured to have married in New York last September. Both initially denied reports, but Baldwin later confirmed the news by changing her social media handle and Instagram bio to say “Bieber”.
